1. Service Overview

SnapScout provides a privacy-focused image search tool that helps users monitor their online presence by identifying images of themselves appearing across the web. We do not store or own any images and are not responsible for hosting images on third-party sites. SnapScout acts solely as a directory, linking users to publicly accessible online sources.

2. Jurisdiction and Legal Compliance

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using our services, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dubai for the resolution of any disputes.

3. User Eligibility and Consent

By using SnapScout, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • The image you provide is your own or that of an individual who has granted you explicit consent for this search.
  • By providing your WhatsApp number and profile name, you consent to SnapScout securely storing this information for usability and security purposes.

4. Subscription Plans and Features

SnapScout offers two subscription packages to meet different user needs:

Premium Images: $50/month

  • Includes 100 basic image searches per month.
  • Basic image search functionality.
  • Standard support.
  • Does not include advanced features.

Ultimate Premium: $99/month

  • Unlimited advanced searches.
  • Early access to name prediction (Alpha).
  • Priority support.
  • All premium features included.

Subscriptions are billed in USD and renew automatically unless canceled. Users will receive a renewal notification via email or WhatsApp a few days before the renewal date. No refunds are provided, except where required by law.

5. User Responsibilities

As a SnapScout user, you agree to:

  • Use the service solely for images of yourself or individuals who have given explicit consent.
  • Not use SnapScout to search for images of others without permission.
  • Keep your account information secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Not interfere with SnapScout's systems or disrupt other users' experiences.

6. Data Processing, Storage, and Privacy

SnapScout processes user-uploaded images solely to conduct the requested search, after which they are deleted. User data, including WhatsApp number and profile name, is stored securely and encrypted to protect sensitive information.

  • Data Storage Locations: Data is stored within Dubai and may be stored on secure servers in Europe and the United States, in accordance with our hosting providers.
  • User Control: Users can request deletion of their data or manage communication preferences by visiting their profile page.
  • Data Retention: We retain user data until a deletion request is made or the user deletes their account.

7. Limitation of Liability

SnapScout is not responsible for content or privacy practices of third-party websites. We make no representations regarding the accuracy or availability of the third-party content we link to. Users are encouraged to contact the hosting site directly for content concerns.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapScout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Search for images of individuals without their explicit consent.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the security features of SnapScout.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to SnapScout's systems or networks.

9. Subscription Fees and Payment Terms

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in USD and will renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date.
  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through our payment and technology partner, Memorality Inc.
  • Cancellation: Users can cancel their subscriptions at any time through their profile page.
  • No Refund Policy: All fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • Renewal Notifications: Users will receive a notification via email or WhatsApp a few days before the subscription renewal date.

10. Termination of Use

SnapScout reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Prepaid fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on our website. We will notify users of significant changes via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved under the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dubai.
